Every card illustrated by Tomokazu Komiya, whose folk-art style is one of the most distinctive in the TCG. Tracked like any other set: a complete set is one of each card, a master set is every booster-pack variant, and a grand master set adds every non-pack printing.

Tomokazu Komiya’s folk-art style — flat perspective, thick outlines, colors from somewhere outside the Pokédex — is the most instantly recognizable in the Pokémon TCG. Fittingly, his first English card was Smeargle, the painter Pokémon, in the 1999 Wizards Black Star Promos.

His 250-plus cards are spread remarkably evenly across every era of the game, from Neo Destiny and the e-reader sets through modern favorites like the Gastly line in 151 and Lechonk in Obsidian Flames. A Komiya master set reads less like a checklist and more like a running joke the TCG has been in on for twenty-five years.
